Since 2004, I wake up grateful that I am fortunate enough to do something I love for a living.  My passion lies in bringing life to people’s hair through cut, color, and style. This industry keeps me on my toes with its constant evolution and allows me the opportunity to be creative, artistic, meet new people all the time, and to continually learn.  

 

I am from New York and I first started experimenting with my own hair at about 9 years old.  I was the girl who was styling everyone’s hair in the cafeteria before classes during high school.  You could say, I always had a knack for doing hair.

 

I started my official career attending cosmetology school in Danbury, CT at Paul Mitchell The School.  I use cruelty free and vegan products.  No one should get hurt in the name of hair.

 

I have called San Diego my home since 2010 and try to soak up as much of the great SoCal weather as possible to make up for all the winters I endured.  In my free time, you can find me teaching Pilates (Ask me about classes!), spending time with my dog, Oliver and 2 cats, Cat & Winston, and enjoying the vegan food that SD has to offer.

Cancellation Policy:

I understand the need for flexibility and respect how valuable everyone’s time is.  As a client, I ask that you do the same.  To ensure that scheduled appointments flow smoothly, clients will need to confirm or cancel appointments at least 24 hours in advance.  If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a 50% charge for these services.  (Emergencies will be evaluated as they come up.)  If you do not show or contact me about not being able to make your appointment, it is a the cost of the service.  Prepayment will be required after such incidents. 


Late Policy:

If you are running late, I will do my best to accommodate.  If you are 15 minutes late or more, you may be asked to reschedule.  If you are running late, please contact me as soon as possible to let me know.  I will also do my best to let you know I am running late. My clients are usually scheduled back to back, which means if I start just one client late, that can throw off the whole rest of my day.  Sometimes I can catch up, and sometimes I can’t, depending on what type of appointments are scheduled after yours.  I know all about the traffic in San Diego and understand that life happens, but if this is a recurring issue, a late fee may be added to your appointment cost.

 

You're not happy.  Now what?

If you are unhappy with your services, I ask that you let me know within 5 days.  If you do not make me aware that you are not satisfied with something, I cannot do anything about it. I want everyone to leave my chair happy, looking and feeling like their best self. That being said, often times new styles can be a journey and the final destination cannot be achieved in one session.  This will be discussed in our consultation and can happen for many reasons, the most important being I want to uphold the integrity of your hair.  If it requires multiple sessions, it does not constitute as a "re-do."  Neither does your spouse, partner, best friend, cat or dog not liking your new look, when you left happy with what we agreed on together.  Once again, if there is an issue, I am always willing to make it right and leave you 100% happy with your hair!
